Tips to make your Application Form stand out!

FLAME gives work experience a lot of knowledge when looking at your application form. This is because of various reasons. Having even a little work experience after your 12th standard, or even before, shows that you are dedicated to the practical application of your knowledge and want to get hands-on experience in the industry you aspire to work in. This also shows maturity, professionalism and the fact that you demonstrate initiative to keep gaining knowledge always. Hence, having work experience will give your application form a competitive edge among your peers.

Now the type of internships you do depends on the industry you are interested in. A genuine few websites that you can find good internships are as follows:

Work Experience

A couple of websites to help you write your SOP are:

A statement of purpose is basically you telling FLAME why you want to come here and also why you think you are good enough for FLAME. That is one of the main questions, followed by a couple more like "Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?” and another one asking your opinion about some abstract concept. The statement of purpose tells the University more about you as a person. It is advisable for you to be honest and creative here. Write from your heart and tell FLAME who YOU truly are, how your journey has been and what you want to make of it in the future! Put a lot of thought behind writing this statement as it matters a lot!!! And this will be your first impression on the people who will decide whether or not you will be accepted in FLAME.

Statement Of Purpose

List ALL, LITERALLY ALL, of your achievements, awards, certificates, sports, extracurricular activities, and/or community service that you have done. Do not spare anything. Even putting down participation and consolation prizes will show that you are an active participant and that is exactly what FLAME looks for. Before you fill this section in the application form, make a rough draft either on a doc or on paper so that it will be easy for you to sort it out chronologically, so that it is easier to read and understand for whoever is reading it. After making this rough draft, you can copy and paste it in the application.
